Bristol Neurosurgical is proud to announce the arrival of Dr. Fred W.Terry, physiatrist, to our practice!
Dr. Terry is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). He joins TriCities Spine after completing a residency in June 2009 in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Terry earned his undergraduate degree at Mountain State University in Beckley, WV, and his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. Prior to his PM&R training at UVa, he completed an internal medicine internship at Bassett Healthcare, an affiliate of Columbia University. At TriCities Spine, Dr. Terry will evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including back and neck pain. He is proficient in electrodiagnostic testing which aids in the diagnosis of conditions that cause pain, weakness, and sensory abnormalities. He will focus on optimizing function through the combined use of medications, physical modalities, physical and occupational therapy, and interventional spine injections. Away from the office, Dr. Terry enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, golfing, and cooking.
